GENERAL
The aim of these Terms & Conditions is to provide a fair and sustainable structure for everyone. Classes run in terms throughout the year. You can join a class after a term has started if places are still available and just pay for the remainder of the term. Music Maestros classes are aimed at babies and toddlers experiencing musical activities with their parents and caregivers. As such, all classes require the participation of the child’s parent or caregiver for the duration of the class (with the exeption of where your child is attending a Music Maestros class at THEIR SCHOOL).PAYMENTS
Payment is made using the online booking system on this website. Your place will only be confirmed upon full payment and you will receive an automated reply confirming your place once payment is made.Payments are non-refundable, except in the case of cancellation by Music Maestros. However, you can offer your place to a friend or family member provided you inform Music Maestros in advance and once their CHILD is of a suitable age for the class. If the CHILD is not of a similar age for the term you have booked, they can be given a place in a different class as long as there is availability. Unfortunately Music Maestros is unable to offer refunds if you miss a class for any reason. Missed lessons also cannot be carried over to a new term. This is to ensure continuity of service. lessons missed by the teacher will either be given as a ‘catch-up’ class at the end of the term or refunded if a later date is unavailable in advance of the next term commencing. In exceptional circumstances classes may not be able to run due to unforeseen circumstances, e.g. weather conditions resulting in the closure of schools. If this should happen, Music Maestros may provide an online class instead (however please note this will not be feasible for group piano lessons). If you are unable to attend a baby / toddler class you are welcome to give your place for the class to a friend / family member. at baby & toddler classes, Parents and caregivers are responsible for their child’s safety and supervision at all times. Music Maestros will ensure that equipment used is clean in advance of your child using it. To maintain a clean and safe environment for all participants, we kindly ask that parents and caregivers remove their shoes during class.Where your child is attending a Music Maestros class in a school, junior & senior infant children will be collected from their classroom afterchool.TWINS / SIBLINGS
A discount is available for a second twin or sibling when booking a full term. Please email musicmaestrosinfo@gmail.com or send a message on Instagram / Facebook for details on how to arrange this.Due to venue capacity and to give your child the full benefit of the class, non-participating siblings cannot attend.BEHAVIOURAL ISSUES
Naturally, children can often become over exicted. However, rough or disruptive behaviour is not allowed. Should this happen in a toddler class, it is expected that adults will remove children from the class until they are able to rejoin calmly. Safety is a top priority. If a rough physical incident occurs, such as hitting, pulling hair, biting etc, adults will be asked to remove the child from the class.if a bavioural issue occurs during an after-school class, the incident will be reported to the child's parents or guardians immediately. if such behaviour ocurs again, parents or guardians may be asked to attend class with the child. in serious cases, parents or guardians may be asked to suspend or terminate attendance. PROPERTY
Music Maestros cannot accept responsibility for damage or loss of property.ILLNESS
Parents and caregivers are asked to keep their children at home if they have a serious infection. A refund cannot be offered for a lesson missed due to illness. However, if you are attending a baby / toddler class you are welcome to give your place to a friend / family member and their baby / toddler or attend a class at a different venue if there is availability. Feel free to take pictures or videos of your children during the class, provided it doesn't interfere with the class. Please always be sensitive of taking pictures of others without their permission. Photos or videos taken by the teacher for promotional reasons will only be done so with your consent.By booking a term, you are agreeing to all of the above Terms and Conditions.
